Description
San Diego City College offers a unique blend of academic excellence and city energy, making it an ideal destination for prospective students, families, schools, and community organizations exploring college options.
Whether you are requesting an individual or group tour, visitors will get a firsthand look at our diverse downtown campus and learn about academic programs, student resources, support services, and the opportunities available at City College. Tours are led by Outreach Ambassadors and provide an opportunity to explore campus, ask questions, and envision yourself - or your students - as City College students. Tours may include a visit to the Welcome Center, which assists new and prospective students with the transition into college life.
Booking Information:
The tour booking form has a capacity of 35 attendees. For an individual tour request, please enter the total number of attendees, including students, family members, and guests. For group tour requests, submitting the form does not guarantee a booking for groups larger than 35; larger groups may require additional staffing and are subject to availability.
Tour dates with less than 35 registration spots have individual tour bookings and will not be available for group tours.
If you are requesting a specific departmental or program presentation, a minimum of 3 weeks' notice is required. We will follow up by email regarding presentation requests and any additional arrangements needed for your visit.
Please allow 2–3 business days for our team to contact you via email to confirm your requested tour date and time. Submission of a group tour request does not guarantee a booking.

Questions & Answers
- City has a large campus, where is the Welcome Center (A-201)?
The Welcome Center is located on the second floor of the A-building. We are south of San Diego High School, off of Russ Blvd.
- Where do I park?
Free 1-hour Visitor Parking is available in Lot 10. There are a limited number of free visitor parking spots in Lot 10 off the intersection of Russ Blvd. and Park Blvd. Vehicles may not remain parked longer than one hour in designated visitor parking spaces.
Paid College Parking is available if Lot 10 is full or your visit will exceed one hour. Visitors can pay for parking by downloading the ParkMobile app or texting "Park" to 77223 and entering zone # 21005. Visitors can pay for up to 10 hours of parking in Lot 3, 5, V Building lot & MS-building lot. Please wear comfortable shoes, as portions of our campus include stairs and hills!
Paid City of San Diego Parking is available along several streets surrounding City College. Russ Blvd. offers numerous metered parking spaces and is the closest street parking option to our Welcome Center.

- What items should I bring with me?
You are more than welcome to bring a water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, and any item that will make your experience walking around our beautiful campus more enjoyable!

- Do you accept walk-ins?
We are unable to accommodate walk-in guests; however, we encourage interested individuals/groups to check out our self guided tour brochure and explore the campus at your own pace. We have printed self-guided tour brochures in our Welcome Center A-201 that we encourage you to stop by and pick up.
